thank yous!

I am one of those people who hates to ask for help. I have always been fiercely independent and proud of it. However, over the last 6 years or so (yes, since I started having kids), I have realized there is something to the whole "it takes a village" thing. As I am currently surviving the birth of my third little guy I can honestly say I have never been more grateful for the offers of help and food that have come pouring in from the fabulous friends and family we have around us. Friends from our wonderful church have brought us dinner all week and various friends and family members have wisked Samuel and James away for a few hours of playtime so that Matthew and I could rest and recover.
As it stands, Matthew is two weeks old today and I am physically and emotionally doing much better than I had anticipated. Usually I am a glass-is-half-full kind of girl but my previous pregnancies/deliveries have taught me to expect the worst. The fact that we are doing so well -aside from a little sleep deprivation- is because of all of you amazing people out there. So here is a big Philadelphian style THANK YOUS! (not a typo, that is how they talk out here) and please let us know when we can return the favor!!
